• Protects class I-IV commodities and cartoned unexpanded plastics without the use of in-rack sprinklers.
• Lower overall water demand than other ESFR and CMSA sprinklers in many storage arrangements.
• Smaller K factor (compared to competitive CMSA products) allows the VK592 to flow significantly less water given similar operating pressures.
• More flexible installation criteria for obstructions compared to ESFR sprinklers. UL Listing allows VK592 to be installed only 4 in (100 mm) from most common types of bar joists.
• Approved for up to 12 ft (3,7 m) spacing between sprinklers on a branch line providing greater design and installation flexibility.
• UL Listed for concrete tee construction, which is prohibited for ESFR sprinklers.
• Also UL Listed and FM Approved for warehouses with aisles as narrow as 4 ft (1,2 m).
