Corrosion-resistant "Electroless Nickel PTFE" (ENT) plating is available throughout a significant portion of the Viking sprinkler product line. ENT plating provides an enhanced level of protection in certain environments where sprinkler corrosion is a potential concern, such as industrial wash-down areas, chemical processing facilities, and certain manufacturing environments, as well as exposed installations such as parking garages and balconies, particularly those near the ocean.

All Viking sprinklers with ENT plating have been tested and listed by UL as corrosion-resistant. Most of Viking's ENT plated sprinklers are also approved by Factory Mutual  as corrosion proofing for installation in corrosive environments. The ENT plating is durable and inherently resistant to scratching, chipping, and flaking, and is aesthetically pleasing and suitable for decorative applications. Viking's line of ENT plated sprinklers includes several standard coverage, extended coverage, ELO, Freedom® Residential, and dry sprinkler options.
