Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems and Release Control Panels (Hybrid Program)

Training Program Description

This training program is a two-part hybrid course that’s designed for individuals to receive a comprehensive overview and working knowledge of clean agent suppression systems and the associated releasing control panels. This program is taught through both online self-paced training as well as in-person instructor-led classroom discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on lab activities. These courses are taken independently and can be completed in any order.

Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems Session (Online Self-paced)

In this program students will be given an overview of the design, operations, and installation considerations for clean agents such as VSH1230 and VSH200 systems. On average students can complete this program in about 8 hours.

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of this session.

Release Control Panels (In-person Instructor-led)

This program is held in Caledonia Michigan at the Viking Training facility. The training provides students with an overview of the release control panels found with Viking Special Hazard products. The course covers design, operations and programming as well as installation.

The 1st day of this 2.5 day training will be dedicated to the Potter ARC-100 release control panel. This day will run 8am-5pm.

The 2nd day of training will be dedicated to Notifier products such as the RP-2002 and the NFS-320. This day will also run 8am-5pm.

The final day of training will run 8am -12pm and involve hands-on activities in our alarm lab. A laptop computer (one per company/organization in attendance) will be needed for successful completion.

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of this session.

Participants who complete this training will receive NOTIFIER VeriFire® Tools software.

*Individuals participating in this training program are strongly encouraged to wear clothing favorable to hands-on training. Closed toe, closed heel and flat sole shoes are required.
