Training Program Description
Storage occupancies present unique challenges to sprinkler system design and installation. The standards governing protection are complex and have varying rules for the protection of stored commodities. This fast-paced and highly interactive two-day training program is designed for individuals seeking to advance their knowledge in storage protection solutions, apply the requirements, and select the sprinklers designed to provide protection from fire in these highly challenging occupancies.
This training program will explore the installation standards and discuss how specific types of sprinklers address the protection objectives. Using instructor-led classroom discussions, hands-on demonstrations, group-based activities, and live storage sprinkler spray pattern demonstrations, participants will be guided through a series of decisions and requirements that lead to compliance with the standards and ensure the system will operate properly when needed.
