Caledonia, Mich.– Viking Group, Inc., a Michigan-based manufacturer and distributor of fire protection solutions, is pleased to announce the VK971 Quick Response and the VK972 Standard Response Sprinkler and Flexible Hose Assemblies! The new VK971 and VK972 assemblies offer a next-generation fire protection solution designed to simplify installation by eliminating the need for hydraulic recalculations. Both models are pre-calibrated with a K-factor of 5.6 (80.6 metric), enabling accurate system design without factoring in equivalent length—an especially valuable advantage for retrofit projects where original system data may be incomplete or unavailable.
Available exclusively through Viking SupplyNet, the cULus Listed VK971 and VK972 concealed sprinkler assemblies come in 48- and 60-inch hose lengths. Each model is offered in a range of finish options including brass, chrome, white polyester, black polyester, and the VK971 comes in Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT), with available temperature ratings of 155°F, 175°F, and 200°F. The assemblies feature a fully welded flexible hose and a UL Listed 2-inch minimum bend radius, allowing up to four 90° bends without the need for special tools. To protect product integrity during shipping, each box includes five complete assemblies along with cover plates.
