Additional Oxeo Design Information

With zero environmental impact, you can protect critical infrastructure (such as data centers, art museums, police evidence, pharmaceutical storage, wind turbines, and much more) with the innovative Oxeo Extinguishing System. Oxeo, an inert gas fire suppression system, utilizes argon or nitrogen to suppress challenging fire events without damaging the spaces it protects. Viking's 2025 Oxeo testing validated that nitrogen use allows for openings up to 0.5% of total room boundaries (including walls and floors) with no compensation. Additional testing concluded it's the most efficient way to protect Class B hazards.

With this completed and successful testing, Oxeo Extended Discharge is no longer required for rooms with unclosable openings up to a certain size!

cULus Listed and FM Approved to protect Class A, B and C fires, and especially useful for protecting Class D fires (as argon is the only suitable clean agent for metal fires), Oxeo's inert gases are stored in the system’s extinguishing agent container(s) until system activation. The container assembly includes a seamless steel cylinder filled with either gas. Oxeo is available in both pressure reducing and constant flow system options.
