The Dry Sprinkler Seal is designed to be used with most models of dry sprinklers including ESFR to help seal the clearance space around the barrel. When properly installed, this seal decreases the potential for leakage of air through the opening in the ceiling or wall and consequent formation of condensate around the sprinkler connection on the system piping. It is designed to simplify installation within cooler and freezer applications, saving valuable time when insulating around dry sprinklers. The Dry Sprinkler Seal features an access hole that allows contractors to apply expanding foam insulation in the penetration without removing the seal. This streamlined design eliminates the need to remove and reinstall the seal during the insulation process, helping contractors complete installations faster and with fewer installation steps.
